Doppelgängers: Twenty Into One is an AI-driven photography project that explores visual inheritance through recursive image synthesis. Beginning with twenty original photographs, the images are progressively merged across four generations until a single final image remains. Presented as a mirrored installation, the project duplicates each stage of transformation across space, reinforcing themes of repetition, identity, and convergence. Through this process, the work investigates how visual traits evolve, persist, and dissolve under algorithmic reinterpretation, reflecting on memory and the transformation of photographic form in the age of artificial intelligence.
